Job Posting - Manager Accounts Payable - University of Lethbridge
The University of Lethbridge is seeking applications for the position of Manager Accounts Payable reporting to the Executive Director, Financial Services. The Manager Accounts Payable is responsible for managing all the business activity for disbursements, including all applicable taxes, foreign currency and the related expense accounting. This position is also responsible for bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, analytical review and ongoing management of functional enhancements and upgrades for BANNER Accounts Payable module.
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate university business degree, preferably have an accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA), at least 3 years of experience in an accounting related job and excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Experience using the BANNER Finance system would be an asset. Thorough knowledge of income tax issues and Goods and Services tax legislation is essential. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff and vendors is essential.
